Promenade Park Child ID Event and Sidewalk Sale

ROANOKE, VIRGINIA (May 10, 2011) – Promenade Park will host the VA CHIP (Virginia Child ID Program) coordinators from the 22nd Masonic District, Pleasant’s Lodge #63AF & AM on Saturday, May 21st from 11:00am – 3:00pm for a Child ID drive.
Free of charge, parents can bring children into the former Doctor Golf location to complete the Child ID process that includes photos, video, and fingerprints. Parents receive a package with a complete printout of the child’s information, a CD with the ID information, and a DNA acquisition kit that can be used at home. The Masons do not store any of the personal data on any of the children, and all files are deleted after the event is completed.
