Dr. Ray Tuck, Jr.

 

N. Ray Tuck Jr., D.C. began his journey into chiropractic by becoming a graduate of Radford University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science. From there, he went on to earn his second Bachelor of Science, this time majoring in Human Biology, and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from The National College of Chiropractic.

 

As a second generation chiropractor, following his education, he returned to Southwestern Virginia to work for his father Nathan Tuck, Sr. D.C. and Tuck Clinic of Chiropractic, PC.

 

Working as a chiropractor, Dr. Tuck started making a positive impact in the community with the goals of bringing professionalism, legitimacy and awareness to chiropractic. In 2002, he purchased the Christiansburg and Blacksburg locations from his father.

 

As a community member, he has served on numerous boards including the Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce, The Boys and Girls Club and The American Red Cross Board -where he served as chairman for three years. He is a current member of the Christiansburg Rotary Club, Christiansburg Moose Club, Pulaski Elks, Hokie Club and Blacksburg Sports Club. Dr. Tuck has received many awards including the 1999 Small Business Person of the Year award and the 2004 VCA Chiropractor of the Year award.

 

Currently, Dr. Tuck, along with other doctors at Tuck Chiropractic Clinic work with multiple sports teams including Radford University, Ferrum College and the Christiansburg High School Blue Demon Wrestling Team.

 

Dr. Tuck is proactively involved with chiropractic locally and nationally. He is on the Virginia Chiropractic Association board, the representative for Virginia to the American Chiropractic Association as well as a member of multiple committees, and the Executive Director for the Association for the History of Chiropractic.
