A native of Rexville, New York Dr. Welty-Miller graduated from Houghton College in 1994 with a major in Biology and was named the outstanding biology student in 1994. Dr. Welty-Miller graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1999 and was selected to Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities, and received the Clinical Achievement Award in 1999. In May of 2000 Dr. Welty-Miller joined the Tuck team. She is a member of Pulaski Kiwanis club and president 2002-2004 and served as vice-president 2001-2002. A board member of the Pulaski YMCA, Dr. Welty-Miller feels it is important to be involved in your community. She enjoys bicycling, canoeing and hiking in the outdoors of southwest Virginia. She also enjoys playing bluegrass music with her husband. In their spare time they like to visit family in upstate New York.
