The game of golf and the practice of chiropractic have each had significant impact on my life. As a pass-time and hobby, golf provides a constant challenge to all who play – and I am certainly no exception. As a chiropractor with Tuck Chiropractic Clinic, I am fortunate to be able to help ease the suffering of back and neck pain that can be so debilitating for so many. It was only a matter of time before these two passions united and I began treating golfers for their aches and pains.
In October of 2009, I attended a certification seminar with the Titleist Performance Institute dealing with golf fitness. As a chiropractor, I have an intimate knowledge of the human body and of biomechanics (the whys and hows of movement). The folks at Titleist were able to correlate these ideas with the golf swing and provide the model by which golfers can be helped with chiropractic care.
Now, as a resident of the Roanoke Valley, I am excited to help local golfers – from young children to senior players – get the absolute most out of their game. I guess I could state my overall goal like this:
“It is my goal to work together with golfers and golf instructors to provide an avenue by which every player, regardless of age, can become more efficient and comfortable while they play golf” Yep, that about sums it up!
I hope you’ll take the time to look around this website and learn as much as you can. If you think I may be able to help you play golf better or with less pain, give me a call and we can sit down and discuss your goals.
See you on the course!
